    Responsibilities

    The Processing Manager is responsible for overseeing the Loan Processing function to ensure all Loan Processors provide quality loan processing, adherence to underwriting standards and ensuring completeness of all submission.  

     

    What you’ll do:

    • Monitor processing pipeline for activity, status and accuracy.
    • Ensure loans are actively processed in accordance with the established workflows and turn times.
    • Constant communication with all external parties to the loan including but not limited to Borrower, Realtor, Closing Agent, and Appraisal Management Company.
    • Follow up with processing and team management regarding inactive loans and data integrity.
    • Train and update processing staff on all operational procedures and investor guidelines and procedures.
    • Monitor processing workflows to identify and implement enhancements or changes as needed.
    • Assist the Processors and Team Sales Managers in resolving complex processing situations involving investor guidelines, processing systems and internal procedures.
    • Act as a liaison between the underwriting, title, settlement agent and funding department to ensure a timely closing of loans.
    • Assist management in the creation of a centralized processing model.
    • Monitor staffing and workflow to ensure proper staffing levels to meet production needs.
    • Hire and train new processing staff.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

    Qualifications

    What you'll need:

     

    • Current Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) License from NMLS required in applicable state jurisdictions
    • 5+ years processing experience
    • 2+ years Supervising experience
    • Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
